What we collect
- Account data — name, email, password hash (never plaintext), agency name.
- Configuration data — monitor targets, client names/contact emails you add, alert-channel secrets (encrypted at rest).
- Usage data — check results, incident history, aggregate product-analytics events (via a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool — no third-party ad trackers).
- Billing data — payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI, or netbanking details. We handle billing and invoicing for your subscription directly.
How we use it
To run the service: schedule checks, send alerts and reports, enforce plan limits, and provide support. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it to train third-party models.
Who we share it with
Only the subprocessors listed on our subprocessors page, each under its own data-processing terms, and only to the extent needed to run the service (hosting and encrypted backups, edge network and failure confirmation, transactional email, payments).
Retention
Raw check results: 90 days. Hourly rollups: 13 months. Audit log entries: 13 months. Account data is retained until you delete your workspace, after which a 30-day grace period applies before permanent deletion.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data from within the app, or contact us to request either. If you’re in the EU/UK, you have the rights GDPR grants — see our DPA for processing terms if you’re acting as a data controller using Pingdeck as a processor.
