Custom domains

Attach a domain like status.youragency.com to a status page. Available on Pro and up.

Setup

1. Enter the hostname in Settings → Domains.
2. Point a CNAME record at domains.pingdeck.app, and add the TXT verification record we show you.
3. TLS is issued automatically once the records are visible — usually within a few minutes.

Verification states

• Pending DNS — records not seen yet. We re-check automatically every 5 minutes, or click “Check now.”
• Verifying — records seen, certificate issuance in progress.
• Active — live and serving your status page.
• Error — a specific reason (CNAME points elsewhere, TXT mismatch, or a CAA record blocking issuance).

Cloudflare users

Set the CNAME to DNS only (gray cloud, not orange/proxied). A proxied CNAME hides the record we need to see to issue a certificate, and issuance will fail.
